Pioneering AR for one of the world’s biggest brands, during festival season in Europe.
Kerve were invited to work our magic on an AR digital treasure hunt for Vuse. The concept, ‘Vuse Finder’, broke the mould for festival innovation, by making the whole activation site an interactive digital playground.
The immersive AR game would sync with large European summer festivals. Designed to promote Vuse Go, it would engage festival goers in an exciting way, whilst challenging them to find the virtual products and collect prizes.
Vuse over festival season
Building a Pokémon-inspired AR game was ambitious, but we love a challenge. And nailed it, delivering the whole campaign in just 7 weeks. This included a bespoke CMS, which gave brand the power to decide on prizes, AR product locations, as well as detailed analytics.
The insights allowed Kerve to fine tune Vuse Finder to suit the demographic of a further four festivals.
A game changer
The game was a hit. Launched at Open Beatz, in Germany, then used at four other events. Played by thousands of festival goers over the season, it created a new, immersive way of engaging with the Vuse festival activation spaces.
The versatility of ‘Vuse Finder’ means it can be used for years to come. Vuse are excited to re-use the app again next year during festival season, and we’ll continue to support and adapt the product to suit their needs.
