We were approached by Seed to help them with the digital element of a campaign they were working on with Spotify.
The campaign was centred around Spotify’s opening of a pop-up ‘greasy spoon’ cafe in Shoreditch, cleverly named ‘Greasy Tunes’ in the hopes of bringing fans and creators closer together.
Seed asked us to build a breakfast ordering system for visitors to the cafe, that also delivered them a personalised playlist and podcast based on their morning taste buds!
Our creative solution allowed diners to simply scan a QR code to visit the web app on their smartphone, browse the menu and order their breakfast. We then used algorithms to match their food and drink choices to deliver them the perfect playlist and podcast to match their individual taste.
As this was a completely unique ordering system, with many individual orders coming from the same tables, we also developed a whole kitchen communication system to make sure everyone was getting the food they ordered at the right time, and the front of house ran smoothly.
