How do you stand out at a tech conference when you're up against Google and IBM? That was the challenge LzLabs set us.
LzLabs were one of the key sponsors at Gartner Symposium in Barcelona, “The World's Most Important Gathering of CIOs and Senior IT Executives”. They needed to attract attention to their “software defined mainframe” - an open-source, cloud-based software version of the clunky, monolithic mainframe computer. But how, as a newcomer, do you do this when you're surrounded by exhibition stands from sponsors like Google, IBM and ATT?
With a motion-sensor controlled, four metre high, video wall of course.
But what good's a giant video wall without epic content? No problem, we turned one of their key sales films into a particle fx animation, then added a motion sensor which detected people walking past and showed their outline on the screen in particles. With people's interest piqued, LzLabs' sales team could then select one of five sale films, via a gesture-controlled menu.
